President’s Message | July 2007

The saying time flies hardly does justice to the soccer season. Opening Day, just a few short weeks away on September 8th starts the season that we have been preparing for since registration began in March. With close to 2,200 players registered with the Rangers, your hard working board and commissioners make all this happen. Fields for practice and games, uniforms, teams formed, coaches, fundraising, referees, practice and game schedules and trophies are all part of Ranger soccer.

Presidents Message | May 2007

Our 42nd season! I would guess that a lot of our parents, coaches, commissioners, and board members were born after the Rangers were founded. This is certainly true of our promising young referees. It is a privilege to serve as President for another year, and a preview of our fall registration numbers has our membership still growing. Many thanks to our ‘technical gurus’ who have made on line registration not only a reality but a huge success. We all volunteer to make a better place for our children, and our volunteer base enhances our league making it the 2nd largest in Orange County with over 2,000 kids playing in Fullerton.

Presidents Message | May 2006

I would like to introduce myself, Mary Kraszewski this year’s President. While I consider myself a ‘lifer’ in the Ranger family, almost 15 years, I am by no means an expert. This organization has changed from 5 year olds playing 11 v 11 on a full sized field, to small sided games with no standings. I applaud the dedication of those who have shaped our league with vision, placing player's first politics last. I hope to continue this positive growth with our present board, commissioners, coaches and as always our dedicated parents. Communication is the key so feel free to phone or email me with ideas, solutions as well as things we need to fix.

The time and seasons fly by and so it is time to think about the fall soccer season. With that comes coaching opportunities, we have lots of new coaching DVD’s for your reference as well as a new ‘training manual’ for lack of a better word that will only enhance practices with drills and thrills. We are hosting two referee clinics this summer and we all know everyone wants a whistle! With all this comes renewed excitement for the soccer season and the special times we share with our children. From Division 8 to U-19 we are here for the kids. Enjoy it all!

I’m very excited to say our On-Line Registration is up and running thanks to a lot of hard work and collaboration by our Technology Team. We have extended our registration deadline until May 18th. At that time we will be hosting our last walk in registration opportunity at our office, fondly called the ‘Ranger Station’, located at 1040 S. Raymond #C. Hours for registration are 6pm-9pm. So if you don’t feel like standing in line, get on-line!

See you on the pitch and everywhere in between!
Mary Kraszewski

Presidents Message | January 2006

Happy New Year Fullerton Rangers,

It’s hard to believe that we’re ready to begin gearing up for the 2006-07 soccer season. This is the time of year when we set our goals as a club for the coming season, as well as look back on the past season’s successes and on the areas needing improvement. It’s our goal to continue the successes, and also to make sure we improve our programs across the board.

Now in our 41st season, the Fullerton Rangers offers many soccer development opportunities for the youth in our community. Last year our club provided soccer development to approximately 2000 players. Countless volunteers at all levels work together to make the Fullerton Rangers one of the southland’s preeminent soccer leagues.

Take a moment to browse our website to find out about our upcoming events. We are looking forward to great spring and fall seasons and hope to see you on the field.

Mary Kraszewski
