Friendship

Friendship Tournament

The Fullerton Rangers Youth Soccer Club sponsored their inaugural Friendship Tournament in 1983 and it has become the longest running tournament for recreational soccer teams in the area. In 2004, a new bracket was established to admit the higher signature level soccer teams for the first time which helped expand the Friendship Tournament to 90 teams.

Sanctioned by CYSA Cal South as a Class V Recreational Tournament, the Friendship Tournament is open to member clubs including AYSO in District 3, North Orange County, for a nominal fee. Played over a dozen well groomed fields captive to the Rangers, the Friendship Tournament is historically held over the Labor Day weekend and features a festive yet competitive atmosphere.

Officially no scores or standings are kept, however, the certified center referees provided by the Rangers not only assure the quality of play but help to ensure the safety of the players. In recognition of their participation in the Friendship Tournament, every player receives a commemorative tournament pin unique to each year.

Come join the Rangers’ in their quest to build the Friendship Tournament into the premier recreational soccer tournament in North Orange County.
