Play-Up Requests

A play-up request must be submitted by the last day of registration with the previous coach’s recommendation. The player must then go to a rating session for the age group that he/she wishes to play in. The Board of Directors reviews all requests and notifies players if the play-up is granted.

F.A.Q.

Q.When is registration and how will I be notified?
A.Registration for the Fall season is held in April. Look for notices sent home from school, banners across Fullerton, postcards in the mail, and the website for more details.

Q.What is Spring Soccer?
A. Spring soccer is for the player who wants to play fun and friendly games on Sunday afternoons in the Spring. There are no practices, no standings, just fun, organized soccer. All games have a referee, and coaches primarily are there for organizing the team and making substitutions. Look for registration information in the Fall Fry Flash and on our website.

Banners

Here is a bit of information about team banners. Most teams purchase banners from the local soccer shop, Soccer Town. The teams ask the players to pitch in about $10.

The banners are usually three by five feet, there is not a standard that the league requires teams to meet, Usually teams create a theme that matches the team name. They add all the players names with a ball, a silohette of a player, or even a photo of the player. They may also include the coaches, team parent, and sponsors names.

Codes Of Conduct

The USYSA (United States Youth Soccer Association) has adopted Codes of Conduct for parents, coaches, and players. It is intended to provide a clear understanding of the type of sport that the association will support and conversely "not support". The Fullerton Rangers is affiliated with USYSA and has adopted these guidelines for it's membership.
