Spring CoachesCoaches Week 7Spring season comes to an end this Sunday. Rally your players for 1 final week again especially for the under 8's and above as the small sided soccer tournament ends this weekend. (Tournament is only for Under 8 and above) Medals will be presented immediately following the games. Remember we are all Rangers so even if you are playing in the consolation game please support our Rangers and have your parents and players hang out for an extra few minutes for the presentation. Finally again please keep in mind the spring soccer tournament is about player development, sportsmanship and having fun. We only have a spring tournament to encourage participation through the end of the spring season. Coaches, I have received no negative comments about very high scoring games, inappropriate sportsmanship, disrespect for the referee and questionable sideline behaviour this week so Great JOB! I do not believe schedules have changed but check the website to make sure. The following people have volunteered numerous/countless hours to make Spring Soccer a success at each venue each week please encourage your teams and parents to thank them for their contribution. Field Marshalls for your location are: Bastanchury Arnold Carrillo: arnold@ascelectric.com Tournament Rules Rules for games in spring tournament are the same as those for the regular season. Tiebreakers Games ending in a tie will go directly to PK's. Coaches please keep a copy of rules with you because if in doubt of rules referee's may use their discretion (FIFA Rule)
Thanks again everyone. I will be sending out requests shortly for those interested in coaching again in Fall 2010. Plenty of volunteer positions also exist for anyone wishing to become more involved in our club. If you are interested in being a division commissioner or would like more information on what it entails please let me know. Coaches Week 6With just two weeks left in our spring season it is time to rally your player especially for the under 8's and above as the small sided soccer tournament starts this weekend. (Tournament is only for Under 8 and above) Finally please keep in mind the spring soccer tournament is about player development, sportsmanship and having fun. We only have a spring tournament to encourage participation through the end of the spring season. Coaches, I have received a number of comments about very high scoring games, inappropriate sportsmanship, disrespect for the referee and questionable sideline behaviour. Please remind and encourage your players and parents on your team and remember we are all Fullerton Rangers so demoralizing the other team serves no purpose whatsoever. Schedules for the tournament have been updated and are posted on the website under schedule d. www.frysc.org. Coaches Week 5Just a quick reminder Coaches Fullerton Rangers Small Sided Soccer Season is back! Schedules are posted on the website. www.frysc.org Visit Spring page under schedule tab and we are still using schedule c. Please note schedule will be updated for tournament. So look for schedule D soon! Lots of other great Ranger related information for you this week on Fall Soccer, Signature soccer so please read on and if possible announce all of the below to your team. Coaches Week 4Thanks everyone for another great week. New goals have been delivered to BSC. Additional T shirts have been ordered. I hear one of our YSC teams have come up with their own uniforms and lets say customized their Spring Soccer shirts! I understand the killer daisies like their unique look. I do still have players on the wait list so if you have room for additional players please let me know. I have had a few requests and I do not have any players on the wait list for Boys under 10, under 7, and girls under 8. (sorry) Please reach out to your players again before Sundays game to insure everyone shows up. Rosters are small to insure maximum playing time for all but that means we need everyone to show up every week. Please also insure games start and finish on time. Coaches Week 3Thanks coaches for a great job last week. Positive feedback was received with no complaints which I think is a first for spring soccer! Registration is up nearly 50%. Number of coaches went from 54 to 78 so thanks again to everyone for stepping up. Please reach out to your players again before Sundays game to insure everyone shows up. With smaller rosters this is an important factor. I have added players to rosters were possible (see below).
