SignatureAbout The Signature LeagueThe CYSA-S Signature League was established for those recreational players that have developed a higher level of soccer skill and competitive play. This past 2012 season the Fullerton Rangers were represented by 12 teams, boys and girls under ages 9 through 14. The Signature League is an advanced recreational league for youth and families designed to promote skilled soccer, good sportsmanship, fair play and a safe environment. The objective of the Signature League is to provide an intermediary playing level that better prepares players, parents and coaches for the transition from recreational play to competitive play. The players are selected though try-out sessions held every year in May. The season begins in July, and games start in September. The games will be played on one of the Signature League designated fields. For more information, visit the CYSA-S Signature League page. Signature Try-Outs May 13th - 16th
The FRYSC Signature Teams will be conducting open try-outs May 13th - 16th, for the 2013-14 Cal South Signature League. Players are encouraged to attend each tryout session. It is recommended that you register as a Recreational player for the FRYSC 2013 Fall Season to participate in Signature try-outs, as late registration begins after May 17th. All players should arrive at least 15 minutes early. Please wear a white shirt, shin guards, cleats, and bring a ball and water. When you arrive at the try-out, please add your child's information to the sign-in sheet for your age group. Please note the specific time for each age group listed below. See the Division Ages table to find your division. May 13th - May 16th = Tryouts Location - Parks Jr High Lower Field Boys: Monday May 13th & Wednesday May 15th 4:45pm to 6:00pm = U9, U10, U11 6:00pm to 7:15pm = U12, U13, U14 Girls: Tuesday May 14th & Thursday May 16th 4:45pm to 6:00pm = U9, U10, U11 6:00pm to 7:15pm = U12, U13, U14
Signature Coach ApplicationThe FRYSC is now accepting applications from interested individuals who are qualified to administrate and coach teams at the CYSA-S Signature League level. The Signature Teams Program is made up of boy and girl teams for age's Under-9 to Under-14. All prior FRYSC Recreational and Signature coaches are welcome to apply for any age Signature team. All qualified candidates will be considered. If you are interested in applying and being considered for one of these positions, please submit an application no later than April 21, 2013 to the FRYSC Signature Teams Committee. The FRYSC Signature Teams Committee will review all submissions and contact qualified candidates for a formal interview the last week of April. Please Submit Letters of Intent To: FRYSC Signature Committee Please note in consideration of your application that player play ups to an older age group will be on a special case basis to allow the maximum number of players at the designated age to play.
Signature RegistrationThe CYSA-S Signature League is a Recreational program. Therefore a Signature player must sign up through the same registration process as a Recreational player. There is an additional fee for each player that participates in the Signature program. This fee will be collected by the team and submitted to CYSA-S along with the team application.
