All-Star Exhibition Details

The number of All-Star teams per division is based on the number of teams in that division, with the criteria that there will be no less than two All-Star teams per division. The All-Star teams will play against each other, and possibly an exhibition game against a signature team (if available).

The All-Star coaches are selected from the top teams in regular season play and in City Cup. The All-Star coaches and the Team Formation committee select All-Star teams based on the pool of players nominated. All-Star coaches, player selections and teams, will be announced at the conclusion of City Cup play, which ends this year on December 1st, 2007.

The Fullerton Rangers All-Star Weekend will be held on December 8 for Division 6, and on December 15 for Divisions 3, 4 & 5. No Scores and Standings will be kept. The 50% minimum playing time rule per player is still mandatory; but the league recommends that each coach targets 75% of playing time per player.

For Division 6, the players will be divided into teams that will be coached by club trainers. This is the first year that the Fullerton Rangers is having All-Stars for that division. In addition to rewarding players by recognizing their elevated soccer skills, the objective of this program is to inform parents about the additional competitive levels available for the players next season.

For Division 3, 4 & 5, the coaches nominated for All-Stars will conduct practices. Practices are scheduled to begin, Monday, December 10th. Practices may not be more than twice a week, and could possibly be limited to once a week based on field availability. There will be 2 exhibition games for each All-Star team on December 15.
