Player Drop FormCoaches, Team Formation and the Board of Directors have worked hard to ensure that FRYSC teams have a fair and adequate distribution of ability of players. This distribution needs to be maintained throughout the playing season. It is not up to a coach to decide not to replace a player that drops or does not show up for practices or games. The FRYSC Handbook under Section 8, Coach Selection and Responsibilities (section 10.7.15), states: “Advise your Division Commissioner immediately if a player drops off your team for any reason at any time during the pre-season or the regular season”. If a player misses practices or games, it is your responsibility to contact the parents to find out if their child is still going to play soccer. If you can not contact the parents, refer the matter to your Division Commissioner. Every player deserves to play soccer, and we usually have players on the wait-list who want to play. Failure to follow these procedures will result in Trial Board proceedings.
